Monthly Update

Well, for the month of June I was over budget by $21.91. I spent $521.91 on $784.01 worth of groceries. I saved $199.32 with coupons during the month.

Due to the sales at Walgreens and CVS recently, I was able to obtain about 12 bottles of body wash for FREE. My boys should not need any body wash for awhile.

Kellogg's cereal recall

Kellogg's has issued a recall on several of their cereals including certain boxes of Fruit Loops, Apple Jacks, Corn Pops and Honey Smacks. Go here for a complete list of which products are included and a phone number to call and request coupons for replacement.

Since I have probably 25 boxes of cereal with almost all being Kellogg's, I did find five boxes included in the list. I have called the number and had to leave my information. I will be calling back tomorrow to verify that my information was received. You will need to call between 8:00 am - 8:00 pm to talk to a real person. They did not state which time zone this was.

Go here for a list of items on sale this week at Walgreens. If you love Pantene products, you can purchase any Pantene styler, hairspray or treatment for $1.50 after $2 RR. I have my eye on the Zyrtec Allergy relief 70 ct. Looks like a good deal-will have to check it out.
